CHAPTER 37—Drawing a Picture

Chapter Topics:

This chapter has some additional examples of graphics. The examples illustrate programming as well as graphics.

In some of these examples advanced features of Java could be used to great advantage. But the chapter uses only the features that have been covered so far.

Note: This chapter may be skipped without loss of continuity. Some pages in the following chapters use graphics, but they also may be skipped without loss.

Part of the reason this chapter still exists is for nostalgia. It is ultimately based on a lecture from 1983 on graphics with Pascal.
